The special tonkotsu salt-flavored ramen broth at this restaurant is rich and delicious, paired with sous-vide chicken and char siu pork. Although the char siu pork is slightly plain, the overall noodles and dragon beard vegetables are very tasty and worth recommending.
The restaurant's décor has visual tension, creating a unique atmosphere that is suitable for office workers to dine in.
The staff offers ice water, and the service is friendly. However, please note that the store only accepts cash and card payments.
This Hong Kong-style soup ramen shop is located on Jinzhou Street in Taipei City. On weekdays, most of the people who come here to dine are office workers. It offers ramen, dry noodles and a few rice bowls to choose from. The clerk will give you ice water, and the store only accepts cash and excuse payment.
🍜Special Tonkotsu Salt Ramen $300
Their ramen focuses on Hong Kong's soup-making technique, locking in the essence of tonkotsu. The soup is indeed rich and delicious, and not too oily. It goes well with chicken and barbecued pork.
The "special" name means the portions of meat and vegetables are larger. I had two large pieces of barbecued pork in this bowl. The barbecued pork is all lean meat, with almost no other fat on it. In fact, it tastes a bit monotonous, which is a pity.
The extra Shu Fei Chicken ($55) was about 4-5 pieces, and I felt it was not cooked well, and it was a little chewy after eating. Overall the noodles are delicious, I recommend ordering them with a firmer texture to go with the soup.
The overall portion is just right for a boy. For girls, it is recommended to order a regular bowl (there is no "special" ramen)
🥦Grassroot $70
The asparagus is super delicious. A large plate of fresh asparagus leaves, paired with sesame sauce, has a very soothing texture and a large portion. It is recommended for two people to enjoy it together👍
