This noodle shop is located in an alley near Ximen Station. There are so many take-out customers at noon that you have to wait for a table if you want to eat inside.
(Directly opposite Zhang Ji’s is the quite famous Su Ji Dumpling House, which is also packed with people)
Zhang Ji’s signature dish should probably be their pot stickers, almost every table has some of them. I also like their dry noodles. Today I came to dine with my friends and it was only the kids who made the choice. We ordered both!
Pot stickers (10 pieces per serving) $60
The price is quite affordable. The fried pot stickers are quite crispy and the meat filling is relatively small. But I think the shortcomings are not hidden, it is still delicious, but it is also very oily. I will always want to wipe my mouth with toilet paper and drink. thing
Dry noodles $45
I chose thick noodles, which are just right in softness and chewy. Another reason why I like their dry noodles is that they add a lot of sauerkraut on top. The sauerkraut is very tasty. It is recommended to add some peppers from the store. The sauce becomes more salty and delicious~
Pickled cucumbers $25, dried tofu $25
The side dishes are all $25, and you can pick them up. The two kinds of side dishes you got today are classic. The seasonings are all good, and they are very good to eat with the staple food, especially the cucumbers are very refreshing.
Overall, the food is delicious, and I will continue to visit again. I want to try the Lion Head next time; however, the space inside is relatively small, and sometimes you need to share the table with other customers (but the store is very polite and will ask customers (willingness), and then it should be mainly takeout
