The quality of the ramen is quite good. The visually appealing pork char siu that apologized to the pig and the grilled pork belly have a great presentation. The amount of broth isn't much, but it's not overly salty, and the overall standard is average.
The restaurant's decor is interesting, with Godzilla decorations on the walls, creating a relaxed atmosphere that makes people feel comfortable.
The staff offers to scan a QR code for ordering, and after the meal, you can settle the bill, with a service that provides free extra rice. The service is friendly.
Originally named "Geji Ramen," it was later changed to "Fine Arts Department Ramen," deriving from the original restaurant's name "Fine Arts Department Sushi."
Although ramen is not the main item, its quality is still pretty good. After being seated by the staff, customers can scan a QR code to place their orders, which differs from the usual automatic ordering machines found in ramen shops; payment is made after receiving the food.
I ordered the "Overwhelming Portion: Apology to the Pig," and the visual presentation when it arrived was indeed quite impressive, with large slices of pork chashu and seared pork belly, plus a soft-boiled egg. The meat quantity is definitely more than the usual two or three slices of chashu found in other ramen, but I wouldn't call it excessive.
The noodles leaned a bit on the hard side, but they still had a reasonably normal firmness when eaten. The broth wasn’t much in quantity and wasn’t overly salty; by the end, it was slightly thick, and you could even get a bowl of Japanese white rice for free to enjoy with it.
Overall, there weren’t any particularly astonishing elements; everything was of average quality but not especially outstanding. Perhaps ordering the white rice and making a mixed rice dish could be the most unique aspect, perfect for adding a substantial amount of starch!
I passed by a store with a very interesting name many times and finally stepped in to dine there. There were many Godzilla-related pictures on the walls of the store, just like the name of the store.
When it comes to the meal, his Extra Rich series is really strong and somewhat salty. Those who like strong flavors will like it. The one I ordered has 2 pieces of chicken barbecued pork and 2 pieces of pork plum blossom barbecued pork. Personally, I think the pig part is average. , but the chicken is delicious and has a bit of lemon flavor. The noodles perform well too, and you can add noodles and rice for free for internal use! ! It’s very friendly to people with big appetites 😍 However, the rice was a bit soft and sticky during today’s meal, which is a small deduction, but if you’re passing by, you can try it! !
This is a newly opened ramen shop on Kaifeng Street. This time I ordered the thick and fat pork bone soup ramen. This is a bowl of noodles where you can eat Shu Fei Chicken, Barbecued Pork and Roasted Pork Belly in one go. It is a very good deal at NT$240. The meat is very tender and delicious, the soup is also very fresh, and the noodles are chewy.
The side dishes include cabbage. Since I personally like cabbage, this is a plus for me.
The barbecued pork in the barbecued pork rice is also very tasty, but there is too much fat, which some people may not like.
