The chicken nuggets are drier, the meat is firm, and the hellfire sauce is slightly spicy but ordinary in taste. The mini puff pastry pie has a crust that isn’t crispy enough, and the filling is average. The iced coconut milk coffee has a strong coconut flavor but is on the sweeter side.
The pixel art decoration inside the store is super cute, but the dining space in the basement is stuffy and has poor air quality.
Macau Camoes McDonald's
This time encountered a Minecraft collaboration event, the store is all pixel-themed, super cute!
Ordered:
• 6-piece McNuggets (MOP$24, with Hellfire sauce)
• Mini puff pastry pie set of 2 (MOP$12)
• Iced coconut milk coffee (MOP$34)
The chicken nuggets are drier than those in Taiwan, with firm meat and not juicy at all. The Hellfire sauce sounds intense but is actually only mildly spicy, with an ordinary taste. The mini pie's crust is not crispy enough, and the filling is quite average; one is enough to get tired of it. The iced coconut milk coffee has a strong coconut aroma but is on the sweeter side, becoming a bit cloying towards the end.
The basement dining area is stuffy, and the air quality is poor; by the end of the meal, I just wanted to leave quickly. However, seeing the Minecraft character models in the display case still brought a bit of healing.
Summary: It's okay to visit for the collaboration event, but don't have high expectations for the food itself.
