Passing by this small shop, I noticed the sign was quite eye-catching, so I casually bought a caramel tart in puff pastry. At 12 Macanese patacas each, it's pretty affordable.
The outer layer is very crispy; you can feel the crunchy texture just by holding it, and it’s also crispy when you bite into it. The filling is quite smooth and not too sweet, making it just right, with a nice caramel aroma coming through. Overall, it’s impressive, and after finishing it, you’ll want to buy another one.
The desserts next to it are super extravagant, with a high stack of strawberries and spiral-shaped green croissants; they looked great for photos, but this time I didn't challenge that and focused on enjoying the tart.
It's a small shop with the address 22, so if you're passing by, you can give it a try.
