Taipei Science and Technology Building Station - The store manager is Japanese. It serves very authentic Japanese cuisine. It mainly sells curry, ramen, and fried noodles. It is a very cozy shop, and you feel like you are in Japan for a second!
📍Japanese fried noodles NT$110
🌕🌕🌕🌖🌑
Only in the evening, you can add noodles for free, and the meal comes with a bowl of soup. The fried noodles are delicious overall. There are a few slices of very tasty fried pork on top, and the soy sauce is full of flavor. I like the slightly chewy texture of the noodles. In addition, the red pickled ginger can balance the heavy taste. After adding noodles, the portion is very large and can be very filling! Unfortunately, halfway through the meal, I discovered that a piece of cabbage was burnt due to frying. The quality needs to be improved.
The attached soup is bonito and onion soup, which tastes pretty good. The funny thing is, it comes in a mug and I thought it was a drink haha!
📍Small curry rice NT$70
🌕🌕🌕🌘🌑
Because I was afraid that I would not be full, I also ordered this small curry rice. The portion was actually quite filling. It was a very Japanese curry rice with carrots and pork meat cubes in it. There were about three or four pieces of meat.
✨One drink can be filled for free inside, and the beverage machine includes Coca-Cola, Sprite, Meili Apple Juice, and Lemon Black Tea. Add NT$30 for unlimited drinks
▶️ Environment
There are a lot of tables inside, including 6 tables for two people and 3 single seats. It’s no problem to eat alone!
The background music plays Japanese happy songs, which is really authentic!
There are many POP hand-painted menu posters posted on the walls, with the words "HUGE POPULAR" written on them! Excellent! It really feels like Japan
▶️ Thoughtful reminder
After entering, the clerk will guide you to your seat. Remember to take your order and fill out the form with a pencil. After filling out the form, go to the counter to order. You must pay first. Only cash is accepted. You don’t need to pick up the cutlery yourself, the staff will bring it to you with your meal.
✨The waiters speak Japanese when greeting guests, communicating with the kitchen when ordering food, and seeing guests off to thank you. It really gives the illusion of dining in Japan🤣🤣
Overall, I like it very much. It’s very filling! When you miss Japan but can’t go there, you can come to this store to feel the memories of Japan!
