The restaurant offers high-quality American steaks and seafood dishes, with generous portions and slightly strong flavors but a variety of choices. Side dishes like flavored rice and mashed potatoes are well-received, while desserts include lemon tarts and caramel pudding, though the lemon tarts are a bit small.
The restaurant has stylish decor, a comfortable atmosphere, and spacious surroundings. Sports events are broadcasted, making it suitable for gatherings.
The service is good, but you need to make a reservation and order in advance. The service charge is 10%.

Stanley American Steakhouse is located in a lane on Da’an Road in the Da’an District of Taipei City. The nearest MRT station is Zhongxiao Fuxing Station. Walk towards Exit 14 of the East District Underground Mall and take the escalator up; it’s about a 3-minute walk to the restaurant.
The restaurant has a spacious interior. Right upon entering, there is a long bar on the right side, and the seating area has an L-shape. The left side mainly has two-person tables, with large windows for enjoying the street view. There’s a more private booth area in the rear right corner, and a TV on the wall for watching sports events. The decor is stylish, and the atmosphere is comfortable.
Today is the company’s year-end dinner, with a total of 16 people dining. We have pre-ordered, and will pay after the meal. The invoice includes service charge of 10%.
I ordered:
🔸 Seasonal Paper-Wrapped Mixed Seafood $690 + Set B Package $230
The seafood platter includes grouper, shrimp, conch, clams, and vegetables, plus two choice sides (flavored rice and mashed potatoes). The seafood is seasoned with a stronger flavor, and the portion is generous, featuring some lesser-seen shellfish. The flavored rice is mildly flavored, and the mashed potatoes are smooth and delicious. If you don’t prefer steak, the seafood platter is a great choice.
The set includes the chef’s creamy soup, the drink is Mannings Hot Comfort Tea, and dessert is a slice of lemon tart. The package price is reasonable, but the lemon tart is a bit too small for my liking. 🤏
🔸 Sous Vide Charcoal Grilled Snowflake Steak 8oz + Half Charcoal Grilled Lobster $990 + Set B Package $230
The steak is quite thick and should be ordered medium-well, and the surf and turf combo featuring half a lobster is visually impressive. The entrée allows for two choice sides (fries + charcoal grilled pineapple); the grilled pineapple is interesting and tastes sweeter after grilling. However, the whole plate lacks vegetables.
The set again includes the chef’s creamy soup, the drink is lemon black tea, and the dessert is caramel pudding. (The size of the pudding is more reasonable than the lemon tart.)
Overall, the price is on the higher side, with ingredients of notable quality. The service and space are quite good, justifying the cost for the decor and atmosphere.
