This time I visited a small dessert shop near the City Hall MRT station.
I happened to come here because I was passing by and my friend wanted to have a dessert.

We sat down, chatted, and caught up with each other,
and that's how we discovered this dessert shop by the roadside.
This shop is actually quite small inside.
Most customers come here to take away desserts.

The selection of desserts is not too extensive,
what you can see in the display window are the available items to order.

Personally, I feel this place is mainly a convenient little space in a busy area
for people to quickly enjoy desserts, have drinks, chat, and enjoy the air conditioning.
As for the dessert selection, I don't remember anything particularly special 🤣🤣🤣.

That day, my friend and I ordered two cakes and one puff.
For the cakes, we chose strawberry and grape cake.
The flavors were decent, and the cake itself was quite soft.
Overall, it was okay to eat and not bad at all.

I personally think the puff was a bit better than the cakes.
The outer skin was quite soft.

Overall, I feel the desserts here are just edible.

The drinks here aren't very different from regular dessert shops—
they mainly offer coffee and tea, which are pretty standard.

Since this place is located in the busy East District,
the space inside isn't large.
The dining area is on the second floor.
So we could place our orders at the counter on the first floor,
and then head to the second floor to wait.

The first floor has quite a lot of information on various desserts,
and there are many gift boxes and individual cakes for sale.
The dining area on the second floor feels a bit like a fast-food restaurant,
but overall, it’s very clean and bright.

There aren't many customers dining in,
and since there aren't a lot of seats,
most people usually come here to take desserts home to enjoy.

Basically, there’s nothing particularly special about the service.
It’s just about ordering at the counter, having your food delivered, and packing the desserts.

The cakes here are priced either by the piece or as a whole.
I think for a shop located in the bustling East District,
with a dining area available,
the prices are quite reasonable!

Since the shop is also situated in the bustling East District,
there are many small shops and beverage stores nearby that you can explore.
I think this place is ideal for when you're tired from walking around
or have just finished an activity.
You can come here to enjoy a dessert and have a drink, continuing the chat.

So regarding the location, I feel it's pretty nice.
It's very suitable for a quick break during a date.

There are no real bad experiences, but also no special features.
Located in the alleys of the East District,
it’s a great spot to take a break or chat with friends spontaneously.

when we go on dates in this area, we might sometimes feel tired from walking.
We may even feel a bit thirsty or craving for something to eat.
This is when such small shops come in handy!

So after wandering around outside for too long, under the hot sun or in sudden rain,
you can step into one of these cute little shops.

The cakes in this shop are really delicious ~ the overall taste is not too sweet

Today I bought two slice cakes, "Chocolate Hill" and "Liqiu". I originally wanted to buy a four-inch cake, but it was sold out. I suggest that if you want to buy a designated cake, remember to call the store in advance to inquire and reserve!

🍫Chocolate Hills
The chocolate hill is made of four layers of chocolate sponge cake sandwiched with bittersweet chocolate whipped cream. I thought the filling would be very sweet, but it was not at all! The chocolate is very fragrant, and it tastes like a wine aftertaste. Paired with the almond crumbs on top, the cake tastes more layered~

🌰Li Qiu
This cake is made with white chocolate vanilla brûlée and sea salt chestnut cream filling. The filling is sweeter than the previous chocolate one, but you can taste the aroma of chestnuts. This cake will be changed with the seasons. If If you are a chestnut lover, you can take advantage of this period to try it!

This is a take-out cake inside the store. There is an area for inside use. In addition to the cakes, there are some room temperature pastries in front of the counter. They are sold individually packaged and gift boxes can be given away. Overall, this cake shop has never been better. There has been no thunder so far! When I want to buy cakes, this is the first place I think of. If you have a chance, come and try it~~
