The lunch set offers a variety of choices, including luxurious items like Wagyu beef and beef tongue. Although the portions are mini, the quality is outstanding. The rice has a strong aroma, with each grain distinct. The Caramel National Treasure tea is uniquely delicious, and the caramel pudding has a bittersweet adult flavor, making it very tasty.

Old Ganbei has always been a luxurious barbecue in my heart. Recently, I saw someone sharing online that their lunch set menu is very cost-effective, so I decided to take a weekday off to come and try it out.
The weekday lunch set menu indeed offers quite a few options, including some very luxurious choices. This time I opted for the 980 set, which includes Wagyu beef and beef tongue among other cuts. Although the portions were a bit small, for my modest appetite, it was just right.
At Old Ganbei, there are staff members who can help with grilling, which I found to be very relaxing, and the food turned out delicious. The rice was incredibly fragrant and perfectly cooked, with each grain distinct. For my drink, I chose the caramel national treasure tea, which is super tasty—not your usual national treasure tea, but one that has a delightful caramel sweetness. It was really good!
For dessert, I had the caramel pudding, which has a mature flavor profile with a bittersweet caramel taste that isn't overly rich or sweet. The texture is very soft and tender, making it quite enjoyable. 😋
