The menu offers a wide variety of choices, including brunch plates, pasta, fish and chips, and more. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are great. The French toast paired with maple syrup is delicious, and the portion of fish and chips is sufficient.

An old and well-known brunch spot in Banqiao, offering a wide variety of dishes including brunch plates, risotto, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and desserts, along with a range of beverages including mixed fruit juices. We visited with friends on a Saturday afternoon and were lucky enough to get a table right away without waiting.
▪️ Good Day Sargan $310
· Pan-fried French brioche, ham slices, countryside green salad with honey mustard, fresh local fruits, and oat yogurt with honey ·
The brunch plate had a rich variety and tasted very healthy. Although the bread wasn't particularly impressive as French toast, it was still quite delicious with maple syrup (which I somewhat forgot), and the orange juice tasted freshly squeezed, not from concentrate. The only downside was that the cereal on the yogurt seemed to have been sitting there for a while. 😆
▪️ Spicy Lemon Egg Yolk Butter Bacon Pasta $240
It was a rare treat to see thick bacon, which really added to the dish’s appeal and taste. Although the sauce wasn’t super rich, I found it just right, with a bit of spiciness that made it not too heavy. It looked small, but was actually quite filling to eat.
· The above brunch/pasta options allow you to choose lightly sweetened black tea, lemon juice, or other drinks for a $20 discount.
▪️ English-style Fish and Chips $220
This was probably the most surprising dish for us. 🤣 We initially thought the portion of fried fish for brunch wouldn't be too large and would just be a small snack, but surprisingly it could totally be a full meal! The tartar sauce was refreshing and helped balance out the fried food, and the fish fillet was actually real fish, not just fish paste. It was a very enjoyable small plate.
Overall, I highly recommend it! The total bill for two people came to less than $400 per person, with no service charge, and the drinks were quite generous so we felt very full. The environment is simple and comfortable, and the dishes we saw at the next table also looked very appetizing with many choices. We will definitely come back when we have the opportunity.
On weekdays at noon, there are quite a few seats available, and the decor is beautiful!
The entrance is great for taking photos—there's a big mirror and thoughtful setup.
Inside the restaurant, utensils and water are self-service, and they only accept cash!!
The menu is super rich with many things I want to eat, but I'm indecisive.
This time, I created my own breakfast plate and chose what I wanted, which is fantastic! Some restaurants don’t allow that, XD.
I ordered French toast, scrambled eggs, and German sausage, which were all delicious! 😋
I also got an Oreo milkshake, and it was great! Not watery at all!
A friend visited again and thought the pasta was quite good too.
Next time, I’d like to try the desserts!
