I went to a delicious yakiniku restaurant in Namba 🐮
The restaurant is called Yakiniku Hormone Kuro no and it's located near Namba Grand Kagetsu, within walking distance from any of the Namba station lines 🚃
It had a rare counter seat that allowed for facing each other 💺
There were also spacious table seats in the back of the restaurant,
and on the second floor, there was an impressive tatami room dedicated to parties‼️
Illuminated grilling nets,
plates,
two types of sauces,
homemade sweet sauce,
and washing sauce
were all provided ✨
We ordered using a QR code 📱
For drinks, I had
black oolong tea for 300 yen 🐮
It was really big and satisfying to drink‼️
I had a basic course with 13 dishes featuring Oita wagyu, priced at 6,500 yen per person 🐮
We started with a kimchi assortment 🔥
It included napa cabbage 🥬, cucumber 🥒, yam, and radish
The balanced spice, sweetness, and sourness were delicious 🔥
Next was a plate of assorted namul ✨
Fern shoots, bean sprouts, radish, and komatsuna 🥬
Each had a solid flavor and was tasty ✨
The Oita wagyu yukhoe 🐮
was lightly seasoned, and the meat melted in my mouth, it was delicious 🐮
Then we had my mom's oxtail soup 🐮
brought to us in a hot stone pot 🔥
It had a large oxtail 🐮, radish, komatsuna, and white negi,
providing a hearty portion 🐮
The tail was super tender, the radish was soft,
and the soup had a gentle taste that was incredibly delicious ✨
We enjoyed the premium beef tongue 🐮
which was thick-cut 🐮
It was soft, rich, and delicious ✨
The combination with rock salt and wasabi was fantastic 🧂🔥
Next, we had a plate of two rare cuts of Oita wagyu, seasoned with salt 🐮
It included sirloin 🐮 and rump 🐮
Both were tender, rich, and delicious 🐮
The pairing with rock salt and wasabi was superb 🧂🔥
For grilled vegetables 🥬
we had eggplant 🍆, pumpkin 🎃, king oyster mushroom 🍄🟫, and shishito peppers 🌶️
Each was delicious and perfectly matched with the sauce ✨
Then we had Oita wagyu sukiyaki 🐮
where the meat was quickly grilled with sauce 🔥
I dipped it in egg yolk and enjoyed it with rice 🥚🍚
The meat was meltingly tender and paired excellently with the rice, making it delicious 🥰
For the next dish, we had a plate of two rare cuts of Oita wagyu, served with sauce 🐮
The sirloin 🐮 was juicy and rich with lots of fat, utterly delicious 🐮
Both the sweet sauce and washing sauce were both excellent ✨
The upper brisket 🐮
was incredibly fluffy, soft, and delicious
Both sauces were delightful ✨
We also had a mixed platter of hormone 🐮
consisting of beef tripe 🐮
that was tender, juicy, and delicious ✨
and the crunchy parts 🐮
which had a nice crunchy texture that was tasty ✨
The five-star master's white rice was all-you-can-eat 🍚
The rice was shiny and delicious with well-defined grains 🍚
Even just the rice was tasty, and it paired perfectly with the yakiniku 🍚
Having unlimited rice was the best 😊
Since this course allowed me to taste many different kinds of dishes in smaller portions, I was very satisfied 🥰
The restaurant is spacious but popular, so it's recommended to make a reservation as it gets filled up quickly ☺️
The second-floor banquet room was also carefully crafted, so if you're coming with a large group, I recommend it for parties‼️
