Located in the alley of Gongyuan Road near Taipei Main Station.

What I enjoyed today was a large bowl of scallop wonton noodles, priced at 115 yuan.
The noodles are a slightly thicker type of ramen.
The mainstream wonton market has always been divided into half and half between Chinese-style large wontons and Taiwanese-style small wontons. Since the name of the store has large wontons, it is not surprising that it is the Chinese-style large wonton type.

The size of the wontons is amazing, there are four in a bowl.
Simply cut the thin skin, and in addition to the meat filling, there are two small scallops inside. In addition to the meaty flavor, it also has a umami flavor, which is very delicious.

Adding some black bean chili from the store, the rich chili and the unique taste of black bean are always a perfect match, giving the soup a completely different layering.

The store is a little smaller and the dining space is a little narrower.
Although it is for internal use, due to various factors, noodles for internal use are still served in paper bowls.
And I saw the customers next door eating fried rice using ordinary dine-in plates.

Overall, the price is affordable in the CNR area and it is a value-for-money meal.

Located in an alley near Taipei Main Station, my colleagues took me to have a meal at noon. I found that there are many snack bars in this alley, and it is really crowded at noon on weekdays.

Arrived at 12:10 noon, it was already full of customers, but by about 12:40 the customers were almost gone. It felt like they were mainly doing business with office workers nearby.

The items they sell are super diverse. The menu takes up an entire wall. If you want to eat dry noodles, soup noodles, fried rice, wontons, and soups, they are all available. You don’t have to worry about getting tired of them if you come here every day.

There are only 3 wontons, but they are quite big; the noodle is a very elastic ramen, which doesn’t look like much, but you will feel full after eating it.
I chose slightly spicy, but it was not spicy at all. I also added some chili peppers on the table. It was very fragrant and delicious.
The whole bowl of noodles tastes quite average, and it’s okay as a meal, but it’s not something that’s amazing and makes you want to have another bowl the next day.

A plate of side dishes is only $25, which is very cheap. We ordered a combination of shredded dried silk and kelp. The taste is not too salty, and it is just right to eat with noodles.

My colleague ordered shrimp zaozu for $85 and miso balls and egg drop soup for $65. The prices of these two items are not cheap. The zaozu seems to only have 5.6 pieces, which is not a big portion. However, the zaozu contains a whole shrimp, which counts. There is sincerity, the soup also looks big and hearty

The small disadvantage of this shop is that it is not very environmentally friendly. They also use paper bowls for internal use (the fried rice is served on ordinary plates). I don’t know if it is because there are not enough staff to cope with the speed of the bowls used by the crowd at noon.

p.s. Colleagues call this store "Cat Shop" because the boss has a cat. Today, the boss is very enthusiastic to introduce his cat to us. It is an ocelot with super beautiful fur~
