This is a great place to come eat alone. I originally thought it was a spicy hot pot and accidentally stumbled in here, thinking I might as well give it a try, and it turned out to be unexpectedly delicious.
Although I rarely eat spicy food, their spiciness is really quite good, and it has that numbing sensation that makes your lips tingle a bit after eating. 🤣🤣🤣
This time, I ordered the pork intestines. Their noodles are not the usual yellow noodles you often see elsewhere but are transparent noodles that are particularly soft and elastic, leaving a strong impression!
At just over 200 a bowl, it's not exactly cheap, but the portion of pork intestines was more than I had expected. The intestines are very tender and elastic, and each piece is quite large, earning the title of my favorite dish of the day.
Their broth is also very good; mixing the spicy sauce with doubanjiang (fermented broad bean paste) creates a taste that is both numbing and spicy, which is really fantastic. 😎 The restaurant also sells their own seasoning sauces separately, which I'm sure the owner is quite confident about.
A little friendly reminder: if you absolutely can't handle any spiciness, don't worry! You can tell the restaurant that you want a completely non-spicy version.~
