This time at "Five Flower Horse" in Yongkang, it turned out to be a disappointing dining experience.

What I originally wanted to eat the most were the Peking-style shredded pork noodles and Sichuan-style dandan noodles, but to my surprise, they were not on the menu. I asked the staff why—was it sold out or was there a shortage of ingredients? The staff coldly replied, "The boss doesn’t sell it." The best dishes not being offered—what kind of logic is this?

Since there were no options, I had to order fried rice, which was an even bigger surprise. It looked fine when it was served, but it had a bitter and burnt taste. Upon closer inspection, there were some small black specks in the rice, which I suspect were because the pan hadn’t been washed for a long time, or the residue from the previous meal wasn't cleaned properly and was used to cook the fried rice. This burnt and bitter fried rice was sold for over a hundred; it’s really unacceptable.

The radish cake was also over-fried, lacking fragrance, and instead had a bitter burnt taste, which suggested poor control over the cooking process. The hot and sour soup noodles were average, with nothing particularly impressive, but at least the noodles had a decent texture.

Moreover, the sauce area was in a complete mess, with green onions and soy sauce placed incorrectly, giving an impression of careless overall management. Coupled with the indifferent attitude of the staff, there wasn't a single aspect of the service or the meal that made me think, "I would come back again."

In conclusion, the quality of the meals in this restaurant has obviously declined. The good dishes that should be offered are not available, the fried rice is burnt and bitter, the radish cake is overly dark, and the service is cold. This dining experience is really not worth it. If you're a regular customer who remembers the flavors from the past, you might be very disappointed now. If you’re a new customer, I recommend spending that over a hundred elsewhere for a better meal.
