Yuli Bridge Head Stinky Tofu Taipei Store is located in Dazhi, not far from JianNan Station on the MRT. Just follow the smell of stinky tofu from the station, and you basically won't get lost.
That's right, the smell is that strong.

A large part of the negative reviews on Google comes from complaints by nearby residents; it’s unfortunate, but fortunately, we are just food enthusiasts looking for delicious dishes.

Today we enjoyed two servings of stinky tofu for a total of 220 TWD.

Stinky Tofu:
The exterior is golden and crispy, giving the illusion of "crispy thick toast." When you bite into it, a solid crunch can be heard.
Although the shell feels a bit hard, the inside maintains a good amount of airiness, soaking up enough sauce to stay moist without feeling hollow like you're eating bean curd residue.
The pickled cabbage is crunchy with a hint of fermented sourness, providing a refreshing contrast without being greasy.

The spicy version has the perfect kick, warming the tongue while still being within reason. Interestingly, when served, the spicy and original versions don't look different at first glance, so be careful not to mix them up; the spice seems to be concentrated in the sauce.

The sauce bar also offers various sauces for you to experiment with, including the commonly found fresh chili sauce.

The queuing system is managed by an ordering machine, and an order number slip with a QR code can be scanned to check the current queue number in real time via the website.
This convenient setup allows you to roam around after getting your number instead of waiting right in front of the shop, which is quite considerate.

Overall, it's a high-quality and efficient stinky tofu chain.
This store, far away in Hualien Yuli, is a blessing for fans who have moved north.
According to online fans’ reviews, the stinky tofu gets increasingly ordinary the further north you go, which makes one curious about the taste of this shop.
If you have the chance to go to Yuli, be sure to specifically try this place.

The dining area is clean and bright, with neatly arranged stainless steel tables and chairs, high functionality, excellent cleanliness, and reasonable prices, serving generous portions. Even after eating, a lingering, nostalgic aroma of stinky tofu remains at the corners of your mouth.
The nearby Jinchunfa Beef Shop is also delicious; if the stinky tofu is sold out, you might want to give that a try.
The shop even offers stinky tofu-flavored snacks, which you can also check out if interested.

Highly recommended to everyone!
