The honey fried chicken from Hashimura has a crispy exterior that remains crunchy even after being coated in honey. Whether it's chicken wings, drumsticks, or breasts, they are all very delicious. It is one of the top-ranked fried chicken brands in Korea.
There is a female store clerk who is fluent in English and friendly, making customers feel well serviced.
【Foodholic Nako @ Jeju Island, South Korea】
The fame of "Ggangmyeon Fried Chicken" needs no further introduction. I fell deeply in love with it after trying it in Seoul many years ago, and I have been longing to eat it again. When "Ggangmyeon Fried Chicken" opened a branch in Taipei, it created a sensation. I was eager to go, but I heard that the Taipei branch tastes completely different from what you get in Korea, so I gave up on that idea. This time, I absolutely had to eat it in Jeju Island!
"Ggangmyeon Fried Chicken Jeju Tower Dong Store" is located in the northern part of Jeju Island, closer to the city center, not far from Dongmun Market. We took it to our hotel to eat.
We ordered the signature honey fried chicken wing and leg combo for ₩23,000. The portion was just right for two people, as we had it for dinner, and it was pretty perfect! The honey fried chicken had a very crispy outer layer, and even after being coated with honey, it remained crunchy. It was truly impressive. Whether it was the wings, legs, or breast (I'm not sure why, but I think I might have had some chicken breast too), it was all delicious. Ggangmyeon Fried Chicken is one of the top fried chicken brands in Korea!
P.S. One of the female staff members at this branch spoke English fluently and was very friendly, which is a huge plus!
