In terms of dishes, the peanut sauce has a flavor similar to Malaysia's satay, and it pairs especially well with some soft ingredients like rice blood. The crunchy chicken cartilage is also quite well-received.
The in-store environment is not particularly dirty, but the hygiene standards are relatively low; it is recommended to increase the frequency of cleaning the utensils.
♢ Zhengda Barbecue ♢
Location: Located near Zhengda, about a two-minute walk.
Dining Environment: The place isn't messy, but it’s clear the owners aren't high on hygiene standards... I just convince myself that high temperatures kill germs, so it's fine, haha.
Ordering Method: You choose your ingredients and pay at the counter, then you receive a number card, and pay again when picking up your food.
Their sauce has peanuts in it, and it tastes a lot like Malaysian satay; if you love satay, you'll definitely enjoy this. Personally, I think this sweet sauce pairs better with softer ingredients, whereas firmer ones like chicken gizzards are not quite a match.
I've heard the chicken cutlet is very good; I’ll try it next time.
