Today I’m here to develop a small shop in an alley again! Every time I find a delicious restaurant in an alley that is not crowded with people, I feel very happy!

Today I found this "Carbon Reduced Vegetable Cuisine" near Zhongshan Station. It is only a 3-minute walk from Exit 2. It is obviously next to the top bustling business districts in Taipei City, but this road is inaccessible and there are almost no people. People will come here

We visited at 7pm on a weekday, and there were not many customers in the store. We liked it so much that we could have a quiet and comfortable dining space.
ps However, there seems to be an event open on the second floor. I heard someone talking with a microphone, but I couldn’t quite hear what the event was.

"Chiben Vegetable Carbon Reduced Cuisine" is a vegetarian restaurant that sells rice, soup noodles, dry noodles, soups, side dishes, drinks, and desserts. There are so many items that you won't get tired of eating them often.

Sichuan Spicy Stinky Tofu Noodles $130
Highly recommend stinky tofu! ! ! Very tasty, very smelly and very fragrant (what a contradiction 😂), super delicious, there are 4 pieces in total, I am still unsatisfied and want to order another bowl of stinky tofu soup
The soup is also very strong and the spiciness is not low. If you don’t dare to eat very spicy food, you may want to ask the boss if he can adjust the spiciness, or choose braised stinky tofu noodles or medicinal stinky tofu noodles~
What I especially want to praise is that in addition to stinky tofu, it also contains carrots, white radish, fungus, and cabbage. It will not make you feel empty when you eat it. Highly recommended!

Special sesame sauce noodles $65
I was surprised when I saw the noodles served by the boss. It was not the light brown sesame paste that I was used to seeing, but a dark brown color. It smelled very fragrant with sesame seeds. When I ate it, it turned out that it was not the usual sesame paste noodles, but a kind of sesame paste noodles. The rich aroma of black sesame seeds is delicious, but the portion is not big~

Herbal braised food is $35
We ordered one portion each of dried black beans and dried orchids. The conclusion is that they are not very recommended because they are not very tasty and have no flavor of marinade, let alone medicinal food. We feel that the marinade can be skipped and not ordered.
ps However, I saw that the other two tables of guests all had some "smoked tofu skin", maybe it is a signature side dish, I will try it next time!

Overall, the staple food tastes very good and the price is not very high. I am very willing to return and try the medicinal stinky tofu noodles next time!

It’s a vegetarian restaurant in an alley. There are plenty of seats in the store, but it doesn’t feel bright enough at night. It should be because of the yellow light. The overall intention is to create a relaxing atmosphere, and the music is also soft.

About the meal
Basically, the only difference between braised rice and rice is the staple food. The side dishes of the signature and honey sauce are also the same. The honey tea goose is a bit too salty and needs to be diluted with other things to dilute the taste. The tomato taste is obvious, and the other side dishes are quite satisfactory.
Cold dried shredded bamboo shoots, I originally thought it was cold dried bamboo shoots, but I realized I was wrong when it was served🤣. This is just right to be paired with the too salty honey tea goose. It tastes refreshing and crispy when eaten alone.
