Luosifen (river snail rice noodles) is really an evil delicacy that you can't help but miss if you haven't eaten it for a while.
Feel free to recommend to me the best luosifen in Kaohsiung; I'll definitely make time to go on a pilgrimage (I'm a luosifen fanatic 😈).
This time, I did a Google search and specifically looked for a highly-rated specialty store with a score of 4.9 stars from over 700 reviews. It's located near the Sanduo Shopping District MRT station and Central Park, so transportation is quite convenient, with a car parking lot nearby, but parking for scooters might be a bit tricky.
Later I found out that this place is relatively new, and the decor is quite noticeable, giving a sense of being in mainland China; the atmosphere is very well done 😆.

Is this place friendly to people (I)? You find your own seat and order by yourself.
You can also use Line Pay for ordering, which is very convenient. The prices are similar to those outside, ranging between 150-200 NT dollars, and you can add on some extras as well.

✐ Happy Classic Luosifen $150
· I was really looking forward to this after reading the reviews, but when I tried it, it was different from what I imagined. I usually love the version in the purple packaging (though I haven't tried it locally, so I'm not sure if this one is authentic; I just really hope to taste a similar flavor that’s freshly made in Taiwan).
This place didn’t give me that feeling; it was sour and spicy but tasted like it had been improved, which isn't bad, just a different style.
The shop is clean, which is a plus. The value for 150 is actually decent, and it also had duck blood and a bit of vegetables inside.

✐ Add Fried Egg $35
· No matter which place’s fried egg you eat, please add it. The fried egg, soaked in the soup, is high in calories but essential 👍🏻.
