I just visited a restaurant called "Niku Kappo" 🐮

It's located in a quiet area about a 10-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station, called "Kyoto Niku Kappo Miyata" 🚃

You can enjoy watching the cooking right in front of you at the counter seats ✨

The drinks I had were:
Yose Ginger Ale 🫚 - 660 yen
Draft Beer 🍺 - 990 yen

The meat is Kyoto-produced Kuroge Wagyu 🐮

The beef sashimi was filled with plenty of hairy crab, and topped with crab miso, which I dipped in ponzu sauce. The meat was rich while the crab brought its own flavor, and the crab miso was also very rich and exceptionally good.

The meat was finely chopped, mixed with pickled daikon, and served over rice, along with swordtip squid and caviar. The richness of the sirloin paired well with the crunchy texture of the pickled daikon. The squid melted in my mouth, and the caviar was rich and popped perfectly, making it delightful.

It had a lotus root dumpling topped with meat, accompanied by shiitake mushrooms and green onions, with a sprinkle of yuzu zest. The lotus root dumpling was sweet, the meat was tender, the mushrooms were rich in flavor, and the yuzu added a nice fragrance, with the sauce being fluffy and delicious.
