One of my favorite hand-cranked drinks shops. The unique tea aroma is its characteristic. The store decoration is in the retro Shanghai style of the early Republic of China, with walnut color, gray green, and bronze gold as the overall visual color. Some old telephones and other decorations.
The name "Crane Tea House" is elegant, and according to the founder's IG self-portrait, it is also a homophonic pronunciation of "drinking tea". Interestingly, this company also operated the old "Rabbit Rabbit" tea brand, which is no longer available in China.
In the past few years, successful new hand-drink brands have had these two elements: recognizable brand vision and exclusive specialty drinks.
In line with its brand image, Crane Tea House has three major types of black tea: Heding, Qimeng, and imported tea, which correspond to fruity, smoky, and earl gray respectively. All three flavors are outstanding.
This time I ordered Qimeng Nadi (large cup) with a portion of sugar and slight ice. It does have a strong smoky flavor, the tea flavor is slightly higher than the milk flavor, and the sugar aroma is also good. It's just that the syrup at the bottom of the cup was not stirred up, so the first part was not too sweet and the last part was too sweet. Unfortunately, the details were not correct.
This brand is diligent in innovating, and it only launched the popular sesame paste jelly last year (I tried it, and it is really good). Recently, it has introduced various flavors of rice cake ingredients. I will try it again when I have the opportunity.
