After trying it once in college, this has become my favorite BBQ restaurant in Hsinchu! 😍 You can order à la carte or choose a set meal. I always have to order the salmon tea rice; a big bowl with service charge is only 66 TWD. I wonder if it's possible to order takeout separately. 🥺 You can choose to skip the wasabi, and they give you a lot of seaweed. 👍 The salmon comes in small pieces, and you have to be careful sometimes because there might still be bones. Although the soup's strength can vary at times. XD I personally really like it, but my friend thinks it's a bit salty.
Each table has chicken soup, which is lighter in color and flavor compared to others.
The meats aren't heavily seasoned, so you can dip them in sauce according to your taste after grilling. So far, the quality has been consistently good. They previously introduced a new series of fresh pork, but I personally found the original to be tastier after trying it.
As for the king oyster mushrooms, the staff suggests drizzling them with chicken soup before grilling to make them more tender and juicy. ❤️
After the meal, they serve purple rice soup with mint balls.
For the two of us, the total cost was around 900 to 1200 TWD. The service speed is quick, and considering the price and quality, the value is very high. I recommend making a reservation in advance.
