I found out that there is a restaurant in Dotonbori where you can enjoy Korean home-cooked dishes, so I went to check it out. 🇰🇷

The restaurant is called "Hanil Jeong" and is located on the second floor of a building across from Dotonbori WINS. 🇰🇷

It is situated about halfway between Namba Station and Nipponbash Station along various lines. 🚃

For drinks, I chose:
Pear juice 🍐 350 yen
Draft beer 🍺 600 yen
The pear juice was refreshingly sweet and delicious. 🍐

I ordered:
Yangpun Kimchi Jjigae 🔥 3280 yen
Noodles 🍜 350 yen
Seafood Jeon 🦐 1300 yen

The Yangpun Kimchi Jjigae 🔥 was a new menu item and recommended by the restaurant. It contained:
Spare ribs 🐷
Kimchi 🔥
Enoki mushrooms 🍄
Green onions

The large spare ribs and kimchi were cut for me. ✂️ The flavor was rich in kimchi taste, with a spiciness and slight sourness that was delicious. 🔥 The spare ribs were thick yet tender and tasty. 🐷 The kimchi was soft and well-cooked, which made it tasty too. 🔥 The green onions and enoki were crunchy. ✨

For the finale, they recommended the noodles, so I went with that. 🍜 They brought me dried noodles, which I cooked. 🍜 The noodles were chewy and paired beautifully with the soup. 🍜

There was plenty of chili pepper, but while I was eating, I didn’t find it overly spicy. However, after finishing, I was sweating a bit. 🔥

The seafood jeon 🦐 was cooked until crispy. 🔥 It was filled with plenty of shrimp and squid, making it chewy and crispy, which was delicious. 🦐🦑 It was tasty both on its own and with the dipping sauce. ✨

Although it was Korean home cooking, it suited Japanese tastes, and everything was delicious. 🇰🇷 I became curious about the other dishes as well. 😆

I was also glad to meet the popular handsome manager at the restaurant! 🥰
