The black pepper roasted goose has crispy skin and tender meat, with a rich flavor that isn't overly salty; the char siu has a moderate amount of fat, and the texture isn't dry. The shrimp in the wontons are plump, the broth is refreshing, and the noodles are slightly soft. The choy sum is fresh and crunchy, perfectly complemented by the oyster sauce.
The store is not large but bustling with people, the space is tight, the floor is a bit slippery, and the atmosphere is genuine, with the flavor of street snacks from Macau.
The speed of serving food is fast, the rhythm is brisk, and it is an old-fashioned yet efficient restaurant that is quick, precise, and effective.

When in Macau, you really can't miss this old establishment, "Chan Kwan Kee Roasted Meat Shop," which has been in operation for over 60 years. Since 2011, it has been selected multiple times in the Michelin Guide's recommendations for Hong Kong and Macau. The shop is not large and always crowded, but the service is super fast and efficient, fitting the traditional style of a quick and precise restaurant.🔥
This time I ordered a combo of char siu and black pepper roasted goose (MOP 83), wonton noodles (MOP 43), and a plate of blanched vegetables (MOP 50). The black pepper roasted goose is really impressive, with a crispy skin and tender meat, flavorful but not overly salty, making it enjoyable on its own or with rice; the char siu was also quite good, not too greasy and tender. 👍
The wontons were a highlight, with solid and plump shrimp, thin skin, and plenty of filling, served in a refreshing broth; however, the noodles were just average and a bit too soft. The blanched vegetables were perfectly cooked, bright and crisp, not hard or bitter, and paired nicely with oyster sauce. 🥬
Overall, it's a very reliable old roasted meat shop where you can taste the history and skilled craftsmanship. The space inside is compact and the floor a bit slippery, but this atmosphere makes the experience feel authentic and gives you the true taste of Macau street food. 🇲🇴

🧸 A cup of hot tea is provided; I couldn’t really tell what kind it was. I only took one sip and noticed a soil-like taste, which might not appeal to those sensitive to flavors in water.
🔅 The floor is a bit scary; it feels sticky and dirty everywhere.
🔅 You find your own seats, but there are reminders nearby that the tables may need to be combined when crowded.
🔅 Reservations are not accepted.
🧸 Still studying the menu, and the staff came by twice. On the third time, they stood right next to us, waiting for us to order, which felt really pressuring.
