The tofu at this stinky tofu shop is cut smaller, but the texture is not as crispy as expected. The sauce does not penetrate the tofu quickly enough, resulting in a slightly lacking flavor.
The dining environment is located by the roadside, where there are more mosquitoes and insects. Customers need to handle their own dish waste, which may affect the cleanliness of the tables.
The staff is quite busy and needs to handle multiple tasks at the same time, so a bit more patience might be required.
"When visiting Yilan, you must first try the fish pedicure activity! It's super thrilling and a bit scary. After soaking your feet, there's a somewhat popular stinky tofu shop nearby." by Dididi
<About the Food🥣>
Overall, this stinky tofu shop hasn't yet made it to my top three favorite stinky tofu places in my heart. The tofu here is cut smaller, but it's not very crispy as it should be. Also, their stinky tofu doesn't absorb the sauce, which makes the flavor somewhat lacking.
<About the Dining Environment🐾>
The dining environment is right on the roadside, which is a bit of a downside because there are quite a few mosquitoes (I got bitten several times). Plus, after eating, you have to take your things to a specific recycling area, and it's unclear whether the tables are cleaned properly. The staff are extremely busy, so you might have to wait a bit for them as they juggle frying tofu in the deep fryer, plating, and handling the cash register, among other tasks.
