The Eight Treasures Vermicelli Soup has a clear and sweet broth, with a rich variety of ingredients and smooth vermicelli. The Spicy Pepper Noodles are flavorful and delicious, while the side dishes, such as smoked tofu rolls and the sweet undertones of bitter melon, are unforgettable.
The dining environment is clean, and the atmosphere is lively. Although it may get a bit chaotic during peak hours, the overall ambiance is pleasant.
During peak dining hours, there might be a wait, but table turnover is quick, service is good, and the checkout process is smooth.
This eight-treasure vermicelli restaurant is my favorite place that I have revisited many times. Every time I come, I always eat to my satisfaction and fullness. The way to order is to first take a seat, choose the main dishes from the menu, and then go get the side dishes and utensils by ourselves. Although there are quite a few people, the table turnover is quick.
The signature eight-treasure vermicelli has a clear and sweet broth with rich ingredients. The smooth vermicelli absorbs the soup particularly well, especially the shrimp, black fungus, and vegetables, all of which are very fresh. The chef's spicy sesame noodles are also impressive, and I can choose my favorite thin noodles. The fragrant and spicy sauce, combined with refreshing shredded cucumber, shredded carrots, and peanuts, creates a distinct and appetizing layer of flavors.
The side dishes are also highlights that I must order every time I visit. The smoked tofu rolls are very unique, the pig liver and braised tofu are delicious in a standard way, and the bitter melon with a sweet bittersweet flavor is my favorite and leaves a lingering sweetness.
In terms of price, it is very affordable, with most main dishes ranging from 65 to 85 NT dollars and side dishes around 30 to 40 NT dollars, offering great value for money. Whether for a main meal or a casual snack, it is a highly recommended choice. I will definitely come back next time I have the chance.
After being seated, draw a menu to order. Then select and pick up side dishes. Finally, head to the counter to pay and wait for your meal.

Highly recommend the sesame sauce noodles 👍🏻. After mixing the noodles with the sauce, the noodles are very chewy and moist, not dry at all. The aroma of the sesame sauce is rich with a hint of sweetness, and before you know it, you've finished a bowl.

The restaurant's signature "Eight Treasures" can be ordered as just the soup or with added rice noodles, regular noodles, or rice cakes. This bowl is abundant and rich, featuring ingredients like meat paste, shrimp, enoki mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, and vegetables. The broth is very sweet and incredibly smooth, leaving you very satisfied after finishing it.

For side dishes, I recommend the cilantro and tofu skin rolls. It’s considered one of the restaurant’s signature sides. The outer layer has a bit of a smoky flavor, wrapping around pickled vegetables and cilantro, which gives it a fresh and crunchy texture.

Another specialty is the Yilan sausage, which has a slight jelly-like texture and is quite chewy. It goes well with the restaurant's special sweet and spicy sauce and soy paste, and it’s pretty delicious.

During meal times, there may be a wait in line. There are two branches in Jiaoxi, so you can look for one that is closer to you.
The eight-treasure noodles are a must-try for your first time visit! Loaded with ingredients, this meal will be super satisfying! The side dishes are also of a good standard. I ordered the bean curd and coriander rolls and it was highly recommended by many!
There are many people during meal times, so there is usually no need to queue. The dining environment is quite clean, but the queue is a bit confusing🤣
The ingredients are abundant, the soup is fresh and sweet, and there is a parking space next to it. You can come and try it when you have time! Ami’s food sharing notes, see you next time!
