"Adam Fried Rice" is located near the Minquan West Road Station, about an 11-minute walk from Exit 9. The restaurant is quite small, with only a row of seats inside, and it seems there is only a ceiling fan, so it can be pretty hot if you visit during the summer.

The owner of "Adam Fried Rice" has a strong personality. Never walk in through the door before the owner speaks; you need to wait at the entrance for the owner to ask if you want to eat in or take out. If you choose to eat in, you must first place your order before entering. If you walk in directly, you might get scolded.

What’s interesting is that the fried rice comes in two flavors: pepper salt and soy sauce, but you can’t choose; the owner will give you whichever flavor he feels like.

To be honest, the price of the fried rice is a bit high; even the regular pork (shredded meat) fried rice costs over 100 NT dollars. Our pork fried rice was $120 and the beef fried rice was $125.

The owner kindly prepared the pork fried rice with pepper salt flavor and the beef fried rice with soy sauce flavor, saying we could swap and try each other’s. When we were about to leave, the owner also asked which flavor we liked better XD.

We both preferred the pepper salt flavor; the aroma of black pepper was strong but not too spicy. The soy sauce flavor was also good, but it had a slight burnt taste, so overall, the pepper salt flavor was better.

One advantage of this fried rice is that there's a generous portion of cabbage, and the cabbage pieces are quite large, which adds a nice texture to the dish. The fried rice itself is not too greasy either.

However, I think a downside is that even for dining in, they use disposable utensils, which is a bit unenvironmental.

Overall, the fried rice is quite tasty for me, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat it. If I lived nearby, I might buy it occasionally.
