After climbing the mountain today, I looked for something to eat on my way down. I really wanted to have pasta, so I found this restaurant that has been on my must-try list for a while. Overall, it performed quite well and I would like to come back and try it again next time. Fortunately, there was a spot available on a Sunday evening, although it was just at the bar.
Once I got to the restaurant, I found the space to be quite comfortable, and the bar seating allowed me to watch the chef cook. The kitchen is fully open, so I could smell the aroma of the frying noodles and feel the heat from the stove. It was quite an interesting dining experience, as I could clearly see how the chef prepared a line of pasta. Although I noticed some negative reviews on Google Maps regarding the open kitchen making the dining area too hot, I didn’t experience that issue during my meal.
The pasta itself was pretty delicious. It's handmade pasta with various shapes, so there should be something for everyone’s taste. I’m definitely looking forward to trying more, especially since there are different types of handmade pasta that I want to sample from the menu before deciding which one fits me best.
FYI, the location is next to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, and the transportation is very convenient, but it's really hard to find parking on weekends, so I wouldn't recommend driving there.
