Dickson's Fooday Ramen Review #239 - Tokyo Edition
On the second day in Tokyo, we headed to Shibuya.
Before diving into a shopping spree, we had to fill our stomachs with some lunch!
Arriving at this ramen shop was actually a beautiful misunderstanding.
After searching for a while on Google Maps for something to eat,
we found a nearby ramen place that turned out to be quite famous,
so we followed the navigation to this restaurant.
But unexpectedly, we ended up in the wrong place!
The well-known restaurant we intended to visit was actually in the location of the last two shops. 😂😂
We mistook the first ramen shop for it
and didn’t look any further.
This is how we accidentally ended up dining at this place.
But indeed, we were wrong!
The ramen here did not suit our taste at all.
It featured a richer miso ramen,
accompanied by fried chicken or pork cutlet, etc.
However, I felt the noodle texture was nothing special,
and since they focused on a rich-style ramen,
the flavor was actually quite strong,
and the soup was a bit too salty.
Moreover, the fried chicken was very greasy,
so overall, I felt the food was not to my liking. 🥹🥹🥹
Additionally, as can be seen from the photos,
the shop is actually quite small.
The dining area inside is also quite cramped.
At that time, we went to the dining area on the second floor,
but it seemed the air conditioning wasn’t working well,
so it was really hot while we were eating.
The quality of dining that day was actually quite poor. 😂😂😂
Give me another chance,
and I will definitely find the right path
to the right ramen shop!

⭐️ Food Section
The noodle texture in the ramen was nothing special,
and the overall soup was really too rich and too salty.
It wasn’t a light broth style;
it was more of a thick, gooey feeling.
That day, I ordered ramen with fried chicken toppings.
The fried chicken was too greasy and crispy.
It looked nice in photos,
but eating it was really too heavy. 😂😂😂
This ramen, I really think, is just ordinary,
more like a small ramen shop found anywhere on the streets of Taiwan,
suitable for a quick bite.
⭐️ Service Section
This ramen shop uses a self-service ordering machine,
and there is a menu available in Chinese,
so there’s no need to worry about not understanding.
But be aware that the self-service ordering machine only accepts cash,
so make sure to prepare cash for payment!
Additionally, there are no other special services,
just the basic meal delivery.
⭐️ Atmosphere Section
The dining area of the shop is divided into two floors,
and that day we had a group dining on the second floor.
The lighting in the shop is more dimly lit,
and since the space is really small,
the dining area with tables is actually quite cramped.
Moreover, perhaps because there were no other customers on the second floor,
the air conditioning wasn't prepared well.
By the end of the meal, we were all sweating!
The dining experience here was quite poor. 🥹🥹🥹
⭐️ Price Section
The additional ramen prices are relatively cheap by Japanese standards,
so I don’t think there’s anything particularly to criticize about the pricing.
⭐️ In Summary
This ramen shop is just a typical small ramen chain found on the street.
If you specially came to Japan,
there's really no need to eat at a place like this. 😂😂😂
There must be many better options,
just be sure not to go to the wrong shop!
You can find good places on Google Maps,
but we ended up going to the wrong one,
it really is quite ridiculous! ~~~~
