Shabu-shabu Nayuki is a restaurant I often visit, and this is my fifth time. I came on a holiday without a reservation, arriving before 5 PM and waited a bit before being seated.
This time, I chose the lowest priced plan, which is $490 + 10%. The meat options include domestic plum pork, fatty pork, and chicken thigh, along with an all-you-can-eat vegetable buffet. The soup base I chose was Hokkaido Rishiri Kombu broth.
The quality of the pork and chicken was within the normal range, although sometimes the fatty pork could be a bit too fatty. I like to dip it in their curry sauce and eat it with the meat.
The vegetable selection was quite abundant and pretty fresh.
For desserts, there were dual flavor soft serves (matcha and original), along with warabi mochi, some toppings, and two different small cakes that change each time. What I looked forward to the most was the sesame crisps, which I would eat about ten pieces of every time. The desserts were simple but really delicious.
Overall, this is a restaurant I would visit again.

Shuan Nai Ye is one of my favorite restaurants; I've dined here more than seven or eight times (Banqiao Far Eastern, Nangang, and this one). That day was the Mid-Autumn Festival, and there were a lot of people. We came to wait for a table before 5 PM and the business was booming.
We chose the simplest price range for the holiday period:
▪️$490 + 10%
· Domestic plum blossom pork, belly pork, chicken thigh meat
· All-you-can-eat buffet
· We chose Hokkaido Rishiri kelp soup as the broth
I've tried other price ranges a few times, and personally, I think the beef is just okay; the pork and chicken paired with the buffet items are quite delicious. All three types of meat are good, though the belly pork can sometimes be a bit fatty, but it’s not a big deal. Besides the basic sauces, I also like to pair them with sesame or their curry sauce while eating.
That day, I used points to exchange for a plate of eight clams (original price $50), which were quite fresh and plump when cooked.
As for the dishes, there is a wide variety, and the replenishment speed is quick. In the past, hot pot buffets weren't as popular, but whenever I suddenly crave a lot of vegetables, I come here.
The sauce area also has quite a few options, and the drink bar can satisfy both cold and hot beverages. The staple section has many noodle types; I always have to grab some udon noodles, which pair well with curry or the udon sauce.
Lastly, one must-try item here is their desserts. The standard comes with dual flavors (matcha/original) soft serve, warabi mochi, various toppings, and two types of small cakes that change in flavor every time. Then there's my favorite, the sesame pancakes—honestly, I can eat so many of them 😂 They're so good that I want to buy a whole box to take home (priced at $100). The red bean and purple rice soup is also a must-try; it's incredibly rich but not overly sweet! The desserts may be simple but are quite tasty.
Overall, I still really love this place. However, on this day, due to the large crowd, the food service felt a bit slower, and the table cleanliness was not as good (I rated it down from 4.5 to 4 stars). Nevertheless, I would definitely return infinitely. This is for your reference.
