春捲的味道非常淡,主要由水煮蔬菜和豆腐組成,缺乏鹹味,甜味也不夠融合,讓人失望。
小攤販的服務帶有人情味,讓人感受到當地的氛圍。
I really had nothing to eat, which is why I bought this spring roll;
My thoughts after eating it are:
If there's nothing to eat, I might come back to buy again🫢.
On that Friday,
it rained heavily in the afternoon 🌧️ and continued to drizzle into the night,
Perhaps due to the weather,
there were fewer crowds on Cultural Road, and not many stores were open that day.
It was already 7 PM, and there were still some vendors,
I heard a passerby say that there were even fewer stalls an hour earlier,
so I wandered around,
and many of the things I wanted to eat were closed 😞, leaving me to walk and observe,
until I reached the end of the street and saw the spring rolls,
and thought, "If I don't eat now, there will be nothing left."
So I bought one to eat.
After taking a bite of 1/3, what surprised me the most was: the taste is super bland!
The spring roll had vegetables, meat, and tofu (yes, tofu).
The only salty flavor came from the meat, but the portion of meat was small,
most of it was boiled vegetables and boiled tofu.
I ordered it with all sugar, without crushed peanuts, just white granulated sugar,
so after the saltiness, it was just the sweetness of sugar,
which didn’t blend together:
a little salty from the meat, vegetables with little flavor, and the sugar was just sweet,
I was shocked 🤯, it was the first time I tasted a spring roll that was so bland.
Although I can't say it was very hard to eat,
the service was just the warmth of a small vendor,
but it's likely that I won't buy it again,
unless there’s nothing delicious to eat on Cultural Road.
