The buffet at Xinyi offers a rich variety of dishes with many choices, allowing you to serve yourself or directly order a bento box, although the prices are a bit high.
The dining area offers unlimited soup, and the mixed soup carries a warmth and familiarity reminiscent of home.
Due to the large number of people, there may be a wait, but the locals seem to be familiar with the pricing system here.
Exploring the Self-Service Lunch Box Shop
Xinyi Self-Service Restaurant
This Xinyi is not that Xinyi, but rather the Xinyi on Xinyi Road.
★
There are two ways to order: one is to directly choose a lunch box, and the other is to serve yourself.
I previously had a 60 TWD lunch box from here.
Now I've switched to the self-service option.
Wow! It really adds up; my plate came to 120 TWD QQ.
In the picture:
Same dish 20 TWD x 4
+
Pork liver 40 TWD
Total: 120 TWD
I didn't order rice because there were too many people, so I didn't ask about the free rice or noodles for dine-in.
I look forward to the next time someone goes to check it out; they can ask about it.
★ Thoughts
For dine-in, there is unlimited soup available.
It's mainly a mixed soup with cabbage and chicken bones boiled together.
You really can't relax when serving yourself at a buffet.
Once you start serving, it can really add up.
I might really want to eat by myself next time, prompting me to go back in.
★ Waiting Time:
Many local elderly people come here to eat.
They must have figured out how the owner calculates the prices by now.
