The three delicacies rice box from this shop's roasted meat is particularly outstanding. The char siu is slightly sweet and thick, the oil chicken is tender, and the duck is moist and not dry. I especially recommend their soup, which has a unique roasted duck aroma and is very popular.
I am someone who really enjoys eating roasted meat bento boxes. Whenever I discover a potentially good roasted meat shop, the first thing I order is definitely the three treasure rice, because it’s the quickest way to sample all the meat options.
Since I haven't tried authentic Cantonese roasted meat, I describe it based on Taiwanese standards (according to a Hong Kong friend who has lived in Taiwan for a long time, he hasn't found a genuine Cantonese roasted meat shop in Taiwan yet 🤣). The char siu itself is on the sweeter side, and the meat is primarily lean, making it feel quite substantial. The oil chicken is very tender and served with crispy shallots. As for the duck, the skin is a bit moist and not very crispy, but the meat retains the right amount of moisture; otherwise, a lot of roasted meat shops serve duck that is a bit too dry. The other side dishes in the bento are just average.
However, I think what’s impressive about this shop is the soup. They use the leftover parts of the duck to make the broth, which has a mysterious aroma of roasted duck. I personally love it!
