The desserts here are predominantly traditional, with common options like mung bean soup and job's tears soup. The mung bean soup is quite sweet, but the overall impression is average, and the prices are affordable.
The store features unique signage and beautiful cat murals, creating a distinctive atmosphere.
This place called "Dou Yi Ren," located on Zhengqiang Street in Yongkang, has a distinctive sign and beautiful cat murals. I've often passed by this shop, and since I have a strong preference for desserts related to mung beans, I finally decided to go in and give it a try. The menu is simple and straightforward, mainly featuring traditional sweets such as mung bean soup and job's tears soup.
I ordered a bowl of mung bean juice, which was on the sweeter side. The mung bean juice is purely liquid, without any mung beans in it (which is better😆), but overall, it didn't leave a deep impression on me. On the other hand, the prices are quite reasonable.
If I have the chance to try more mung bean-related desserts, I might come back to test out their other offerings. However, as for the plain mung bean juice, it was just average and I'm not likely to buy it again.
