At a specialty fruit candy store, the candy apples and strawberry candies are very delicious. The candy is thin and crispy, allowing you to fully enjoy the sweetness and juiciness of the fruit.
It is located in the Teramachi shopping district, and the drinks are inexpensive, making it a perfect place to take a short break.
Located around the Rokkaku area in Teramachi Shopping Street,
is the specialty candied fruit shop 'amenone',
which is the Kyoto branch of a store in Kamakura.
Each season, they carefully select fruits that pair well with their specially made candied fruits, which are coated in a thin layer of candy that is just 1.6mm thick.

I tried the classic apple candy topped with rich cacao,
while all the others were plain.
It was my first time trying everything except for the apple candy,
and they were all incredibly delicious.
The thin candy coating makes it very crispy,
allowing the sweetness and juiciness of the fruits to shine through.
It's located within Teramachi Shopping Street,
and the drinks are reasonably priced,
so it's a great place to take a short break.
