In Sapporo, Hokkaido, the birthplace of soup curry, of course you must choose a meal to visit, and I chose this five-star restaurant near the hotel. It is worthy of being a five-star restaurant. In this freezing and snowy weather, there were still a bunch of people waiting at the door.
We checked in and waited for 30 minutes, which felt extremely long as the temperature outside was really low. But the food is really good (I don’t know if it’s because of the cold weather), I recommend you to come and eat it!
I was looking for a delicious soup curry near where I live in Sapporo. I saw good reviews about this place on the Internet, so I came to try it out. The meal time happened to be noon on Saturday, so there were a lot of people waiting for a table. If you didn't make a reservation, you had to fill out the waiting list and wait outside the store. The average wait was about 1 hour. The weather was -9 degrees Celsius at that time, which was really pretty Hard work🥲
After you sit down, there will be a menu where you can choose the set meal you want to eat, and then choose the spiciness and amount of food. There are also some a la carte toppings to choose from.
I ordered the seasonal oyster soup curry. There were 3 large oysters, which tasted quite fresh. The vegetables were made from Hokkaido spinach specially selected in their store. The rice part uses spiced turmeric rice + wasabi. Although I can't eat the wasabi part, the rice is quite delicious! For the soup curry, I ordered 5 times spicy. It was slightly spicy but not to the point of making you sweat. It tasted quite comfortable.
The reviews are pretty good, and it's not very expensive. The disadvantage is that it takes a long time to wait for a table on site. If you have the opportunity to dine here, it is recommended to wait for a table in advance or make a reservation.
