In the early days, Taipei's first funeral parlor was established near the Xingtian Temple station, leading to an increase in vegetarian dining options in the surrounding area.
Sen Don is located on Songjiang Road in the Jinzhou Street food district. It's a small establishment specializing in various flavors of vegetarian fried rice and fried udon. There is no seating, takeout only (the owner will ask if you eat eggs), and the wait time is not long.

This time, I ordered the Hawaiian fried rice, where the rice grains are distinct and not sticky at all.
The fried rice includes three-color beans, cabbage, and vegetarian meat floss. While the ingredients are simple, the wok flavor is strong, and the sweetness and sourness of the pineapple blend perfectly together. It tastes really high-quality and remains delicious even when cold. 😭
I recommend ordering a slight spiciness for your first time; don't easily challenge the medium spiciness. I consider myself someone who can handle spicy food, but the medium spice really was painful and made my nose run endlessly.
Overall, it's really delicious, a perfect portion for one!
