Braces comment: There is a restroom.
Last Saturday morning, I decided to join the McGriddles craze. Even though I had tried them in Japan before, I wanted to have them again. When I rushed to the first McDonald's, they were already sold out; so I quickly drove to the second one, and seeing the queue ignited my hope, especially since there were still people ordering McGriddles at the ordering kiosk. It seemed like there might be a chance. Unexpectedly, just as it was almost my turn, they were sold out again. I then ran to the third, fourth... all the way to the seventh one, and finally saw a long line of people again. Just as I was about to queue, a staff member came out to announce, "McGriddles are sold out!" Everyone scattered in an instant, and I gave up too, turning back to the first McDonald's to buy a Sausage McMuffin.
This time I ordered an unbeatable Pork Sausage McMuffin with egg, hash browns, an apple pie (accidentally ordered two), and unsweetened green tea. I rarely eat McDonald's on weekdays, and I didn't expect the crowd to be so large on weekends; I had to wait a bit before receiving my order.
Having not eaten it for a long time, the taste of the McMuffin was still satisfying. The combination of the sausage patty and egg was still rich and delicious, with the hash browns crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, evoking fond memories. The apple pie is something I always order; it's crispy and sweet, making it irresistible. Although the calorie count for this entire breakfast is not low, treating myself occasionally is still worthwhile. I regretted not getting the McGriddles this time, but being able to enjoy such a breakfast is also a kind of consolation!
