🥩Oh my! Original Grill, Banqiao Cultural Store🥩
Speaking of the Mid-Autumn Festival, we definitely cannot miss out on having barbecue!
Now, it's becoming less common to grill meat outside by ourselves. 🐷
First, it's because I'm getting older and my friends are all very busy, making it hard to get together. 🥲
Second, I'm also quite lazy to clean up after grilling, which is exhausting. 😔
So every year during the Mid-Autumn Festival, I usually go to a barbecue restaurant with my girlfriend. 🧑🤝🧑
This time, we came to eat at Original Grill, a brand under Wang Pin. 🫅
I have to say, Wang Pin truly deserves to be the largest dining brand in Taiwan.
The quality of their restaurants is consistently good.
This time, I ordered the pure pork set meal.
I felt the amount of meat was very sufficient.
There was a large tomahawk pork chop, and the staff assisted in grilling it.
We had pork belly, Matsusaka pork, cherry duck breast (the duck breast was quite thick, not the thin kind), and another plate of pork belly with Matsusaka.
The portion of meat was very ample, making for a delicious meal.
However, I recall that in a previous visit, the bibimbap had a Korean-style kimchi pork flavor, but for some reason, it wasn't available this time, and the meat had become ground meat, which is a bit of a pity.
As for appetizers, there were two marinated ingredients that were quite tasty, so I recommend trying those.
Having lettuce 🥬 with barbecue is essential, and kimchi is also a must.
Some restaurants charge extra for these, but at Original Grill, you can get unlimited refills at no additional cost, which is a huge plus.
We ended the meal with red bean and purple rice porridge and ice cream for a satisfying finale.
What a fulfilling day!
