In Taitung, next to the seaside road, there is a restaurant called "Ali An Aboriginal Flavor Restaurant" that seems to bring nature right to the dining table. Stepping inside feels like crashing into a tribal celebration. The interior features rough, stone-like walls adorned with colorful tribal paintings, complemented by spacious wooden tables, creating a lively atmosphere. There are also live singers performing, making the entire dining experience feel festive.

The menu boasts an array of creative indigenous dishes, with each plate presented in an extravagant manner; one could say the focus is on the visual appeal. Although we didn’t order it, the most eye-catching dish at other tables was the "Big Bone Wild Game Soup," featuring a bone thicker than an arm, simmered directly in a large wooden barrel of boiling broth, allowing diners to gnaw on it freely and savor its sweet marrow.

Additionally, the salty crispy creek fish and grilled pork ribs are quite generous in portion size, and the flavors are quite different from traditional indigenous cuisine, adding a lot of international flair. For example, the way some dishes are served resembles Mexican tacos.

If you find yourself in Taitung and want to challenge yourself with a different dining adventure, you can come to this place to enjoy big bites of bone, sip soup, listen to music, and share a sumptuous feast with friends.
