Oh! Yaki Fine Barbecue
This time we gathered at "Oh! Yaki Fine Barbecue." I've been here a few times; it's essentially an all-you-can-eat barbecue restaurant with three different price tiers for the set menus. This time we chose the menu priced at 699 NT per person. The ordering method is through scanning the QR code on the table, and the higher-priced sets include all the items from the lower-priced sets. The restaurant also offers free beverages, ice cream, and a self-service sauce area.
🍖 Recommended Dishes
One standout dish was the spicy stuffed pork roll; the crispy skin of the pepper paired well with the fattiness of the pork. If you can handle a bit of spice, I highly recommend it.
Additionally, the salt and pepper intestines were impressive; they were well-prepared, with no unpleasant odor and great flavor.
Other recommended dishes include the marinated spicy beef, salt and pepper chicken cartilage, Korean thick-cut pork belly, and Japanese miso pork ribs. The flavors of these dishes are all above average and worth trying.
❌ Not Recommended Dishes
We also tried the 16oz tender shoulder steak, but I wouldn't recommend it. Given that the steak is quite large and thick, it was hard to control the cooking time when grilling it ourselves, resulting in a less than satisfactory texture that was a bit challenging to chew.
Moreover, the sauced lamb ribs are not highly recommended either, as they have a strong gamey taste and the meat is a bit tough, making them less satisfying overall.
🏠 Dining Environment
We dined on a Saturday afternoon; even though we had a reservation, there were still some available seats at the restaurant. Even after the last order time, the staff didn’t rush us, making it perfect for gathering with friends and chatting.
📝 Overall Evaluation
The overall dining experience at "Oh! Yaki Fine Barbecue" was quite good, especially with standout dishes like the spicy pork roll and salt and pepper intestines. However, it’s advisable to think twice when ordering larger cuts like steak and lamb ribs. The restaurant's atmosphere is suitable for gatherings and casual conversations, making it a great spot for a relaxed get-together.
