Located in Macau, "Yee Shun Milk Company" can be considered a pilgrimage site for dessert lovers. My wife had heard about their famous steamed milk for a long time, and this time she finally got to try it in person. The signature double-skin steamed milk did not disappoint; it has a creamy and smooth texture, and the moment you take a bite, you can feel the rich milky aroma. This dessert is called "double-skin" because during the preparation process, the milk is heated and then cooled, forming two thin layers of milk skin on the surface, with a texture similar to cheese, but even creamier.
Steamed milk comes in both hot and cold varieties, and personally, I feel that each has its own flavor. The hot version is smoother, while the cold one highlights the milk aroma and sweetness more. Additionally, they have other options, such as ginger juice steamed milk and red bean steamed milk, but the most classic one is still the double-skin steamed milk. My wife enjoyed it very much, fulfilling her wish.
Of course, a bowl of steamed milk is not cheap, priced at around 35 Macanese Patacas, which is approximately 135 Taiwan Dollars. Although it's a bit pricey, it's Macau after all, and this price doesn't seem excessive. Overall, this is an establishment that allows you to enjoy a moment of sweet bliss amidst a busy trip. Although the prices are not low, it is still worth a try!
