📍 Hong Kong Causeway Bay
A comfortable environment | Delicious food at this dai pai dong 🇭🇰🥘

I found this restaurant through a Hong Kong YouTuber’s introduction, which is different from the typical dai pai dong on the streets of Kowloon.
This one has a pretty nice indoor setting 👍🏻 with private rooms and air conditioning, very similar to the regular stir-fry shops in Taiwan.

On Friday night, I met up with my Hong Kong friends at this restaurant, and it’s recommended to call ahead to make a reservation! After about 7 PM, there is a long line outside.
After ordering, you have to wait a while before the dishes are served.

🥘
Dish Ordered:
🎖️ Golden Medal Mixed Sausage Clay Pot Rice ($178):
The clay pot rice in Hong Kong is really amazing!
This dish is definitely worth the half-hour wait 😆

When it’s served, the staff will pour the sauce and mix it evenly. The seasoning is fantastic, with plenty of crispy rice crust, which pairs very well with the sausage and Brussels sprouts.

We finished this huge pot of clay pot rice in no time 🤤

🥬 Silver and Golden Egg Minced Pork with Seasonal Greens - Kai-lan ($108):
There are several vegetables to choose from, including spinach, choy sum, and kai-lan.

When it arrives at the table, it’s a massive plate! The kai-lan is stewed in the sauce of century egg, salted egg, and mushrooms.
It’s very appetizing and delicious, and goes well with rice.

🐖 Sweet and Sour Pork with Sugar Coating ($138):
This is my absolute favorite dish! I still miss it very much.

I thought it would taste like sweet and sour pork, but the outer layer is genuinely sugar-coated 🤤🤤🫶🏻.
The texture is rich, slightly sweet from the sugar coating and has the sour-sweet flavor of sweet and sour pork, which really enhances the meat’s quality.

🍄
Would I visit again: Yes!
