#Three Gorges
This Sheng Da Braised Pork Rice is located on Yong'an Street, across from Jie Shou Elementary School.
For friends coming by car, you can make use of the public parking lot in Jiaoxi.
It’s not too far to walk over.
I think choosing a certain dish as the store's name shows a lot of confidence in that dish.
As the name suggests, my first choice is the braised pork rice.
The braised pork rice performs excellently; the ratio of fat to lean meat is great.
It doesn’t feel greasy when eating, and after finishing, there isn’t a layer of oil at the bottom of the bowl.
You can easily finish a bowl in a simple manner.
The dry noodles are decent.
If you don't add the small fish and chili, they can feel a bit ordinary,
but adding them makes a significant difference.
It seems that this chili is made just for the dry noodles!
Summer is the season for eating bamboo shoots, and you can’t miss the bamboo shoot soup.
The bamboo shoots are crisp and sweet, and the soup is gentle and sweet.
The braised cabbage is very soft, but the flavor is somewhat light.
The pork skin in the cabbage is really chewy,
but unfortunately, the pig hair wasn’t cleaned very well,
which looks a bit scary.
Overall, it's still acceptable.
The indoor environment is average,
and there’s air conditioning in the summer.
Plus, the pork knuckles outside look very delicious.
Next time I visit, my goal is to try the pork knuckles! 😋
