This time I visited "Tainan Traditional Snacks" in An'nan District. As the name suggests, the overall style is quite traditional. When I arrived at lunchtime, there were already 5 or 6 people in line, indicating that it is a place frequented by locals. The owner was busy at the counter, sweating profusely, and seemed to be working really hard. However, the restaurant was air-conditioned, and the dining environment was fairly decent.

I ordered the grilled meat rice, along with some steamed vegetables and a braised egg. To be honest, the overall flavor was quite average. The grilled meat rice wasn't unpleasant to eat, but it didn't have any standout features either. The portion of the steamed vegetables was generous, with a taste that was just okay; the braised egg was also on the bland side, leaving not much of an impression.

In summary, this restaurant feels more like a place where local residents go for a hearty meal, with simple flavors and reasonably priced. However, if you're not living nearby or have a sentimental attachment to it, you might find it somewhat ordinary if you come just to try it out.
