Comments from crab lovers: There is a restroom at the temple square.
The long-established Wu's crab soup at Keelung Temple Square Night Market has always had good business, often requiring a wait for dining in. There are not many seats, but the table turnover rate is fast.
This time, as usual, I ordered the oily rice (NT$35) and the crab soup (NT$80). The seasoning of the oily rice was quite good, fragrant but a bit oily; paired with sweet and spicy sauce, it added more layers of flavor. The soup of the crab soup was smooth, and adding black vinegar made the taste clearer. While there wasn't much crab meat, the large pieces of shiitake mushrooms in the soup left a lasting impression with both their texture and flavor.
Overall, it’s a reliable, stable-performing old shop, but it seems to have raised its prices again.
