Located in Yongkang, Tainan, "Sushi郎 Yongkang Store" should be a convenient and quick sushi option for many people. Although Sushi郎 has a well-known brand and often features promotional events (or is it Zang Sushi? I often confuse the two), my dining experience this time was somewhat disappointing. First of all, the quality of the sushi can only be described as average; while the fish was fresh, the texture was not particularly surprising, and even felt monotonous. Moreover, salmon, which I hold in high regard, had mediocre quality whether it was the red plate or the gray plate. After finishing, I felt it lacked a certain flavor. Additionally, sea urchin is also something I value, and while theirs was not stale, it still felt a bit far from delicious. On top of that, the portion sizes were small, leaving me a bit empty after finishing several plates.
In terms of price, it felt slightly higher compared to other conveyor belt sushi brands (like Chuanqiang), and given this price paired with such quality, it really made it feel less worthwhile. Considering the current prices, I still hope to enjoy more memorable dishes; otherwise, the whole dining experience just ends up filling the basic need of satisfying hunger.
Overall, Sushi郎 is easily not filling, and the quality is average, so… it deserves three stars.
