Chaimi is quite a famous brunch café in Taitung, known for its use of local ingredients and seasonal vegetables, so it often gets fully booked during meal times, and it's recommended to make a reservation in advance.
On the day I visited, I wasn't feeling well and knew that I would need to use the bathroom no matter what I ate, so I ordered the smallest portion of Margherita pizza. I didn't have high expectations, as it wasn't their main dish, but it turned out to be just as good as at a specialized pizza restaurant. The crust was thin and perfectly baked—slightly crispy, yet still retained a fibrous texture.
My friend ordered the brunch egg roll series, which was quite large, accompanied by an abundance of side dishes. The cooking style seemed to focus on simple, original flavors. If my digestion returns to normal next time, I would like to come back and try more of their offerings.
