Today, the white rice police went out for lunch, and the police partners found this unremarkable blue alley teppanyaki place. I didn't have high expectations at first, but after eating, I genuinely thought it was quite good!
First up was the white rice, which was cooked to perfection—each grain was plump and distinct, with none of that mushy problem often seen in Taiwanese night market snacks. The portion was also generous!

I ordered the double portion of stir-fried pork for $160. In this age of soaring prices, being able to have freshly stir-fried meat and vegetables for under $200 feels like a real bargain. The meat quality was good, and the seasoning was fragrant; I suggest adding a bit of chili if you like it spicy, as it would make it even more enjoyable with rice! The cabbage and bean sprouts were also well-cooked; those working nearby should definitely give it a try.
If I had to pick something to criticize, it would be the dining environment—it’s a traditional small shop with little decoration. It’s not dirty, but I wouldn't say it's very comfortable either.
