📍 Shilin District, Taipei City
Famous for its fresh milk produced by its own Green Light Ranch 🥤🥛
MiCafé is an old-school hand-shaken drink shop that has maintained a fairly stable quality over the years. In my memory, it was with the emergence of MiCafé that the market began to focus on fresh milk tea from small farms.
This Tianmu location is one of the earliest MiCafé shops opened in Taipei, aside from the Gongguan store, and I used to go out of my way to buy from here.
This time I noticed the store’s decor has a new style, giving off a sense of open pastures, or a lower-quality version of Raw 😆
🐄 Stir-fried brown sugar fresh milk with pearls, warm, medium cup ($75):
Ordered an early signature item from MiCafé 🫶🏻
No option to adjust sweetness.
There is a lot of brown sugar added, and the sweetness hits you right away; it’s very satisfying. I recommend having it hot, as it tastes even better.
As for the pearls, after trying so many hand-shaken drink shops, I still find that MiCafé's pearls are the best—both chewy and soft.
🍄
Will I return? Yes!
It’s been a long time since I’ve come here, and I noticed the prices have increased significantly ☺️
But I still miss the great taste that makes me want to come back!
